An innovative learning space is a “futuristic” learning area that supports an innovative and groundbreaking educational framework which is based on experiential and enriching experiences, in an environment that contributes an additional and/or new dimension to understanding, internalizing and enjoying the learning materials in all the subjects, while fostering principled aspects.
It is a dedicated physical structure designed to enable workshop learning, where the students move from one position to another during the school day, and receive learning support from their teacher where necessary. Learning is collaborative, and knowledge and products – both cognitive and physical – are produced.
Additionally, the program includes training for teachers, which covers teaching in this innovative learning environment.
